WHAT'S HAPPENING??? 

2010 SPOTLIGHT

8th graders went to High Meadow for their class trip on Thursday, June 3, 2010.  It was a great time had by all!  They also enjoyed an evening of dinner and dancing on Friday, June 11, 2010.

This year's musical production, "Guys and Dolls", was held May 6-8, 2010 in the Carmen Arace Auditorium.  Students impressed us all with their performances.  Well done!

Our Music Department was featured during a music extravaganza at the Bushnell on April 8, 2010.  Bravo to all! 

The Visual Arts Department presented exemplar student work during the All District Arts Fesitival.  The showcase was held at Union Station in Hartford during the week of April 5, 2010.  Congratulations on a job well done.

Girls in Technology

Mrs. Epstein, Mrs. Tardif and Dr. Deutsch brought 15 girls to CCSU for a day of science, math, technology and fun.  Click here to view a short video of the bridge building and breaking contest.  Next, 22 girls went to Saint Joseph's College to enjoy STEM activities (science, technology, engineering and math)!

UPCOMING DATES

The first day of school is Wednesday, September 1, 2010.  We look forward to seeing everyone as we start up the 2010-2011 school year.
