6402 ALGEBRA III & TRIGONOMETRY Level - Academic Grades 11 - 12
Meets - All Year 1 Credit
Prerequisite: Algebra II
Algebra III & Trigonometry further develops and applies data collection and statistics, and functions (linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, power, step, inverse, and polynomials) to practical applications. Additional concepts being explored are conics, matrices, and circular and triangular trigonometry. Further topics may include probability, permutations, combinations, binomial and normal distributions. Students will be developing a portfolio of the course accomplishments as much of this course will be project based. A graphing calculator is required for this course. |
