6421     CALCULUS                                                         Level - AP/Honors      Grade 12

                                                                                                     Meets - All Year      1 Credit

Prerequisite: Pre-Calculus.

This course is an advanced course in calculus and related analytic geometry.  The main topics are:  coordinate geometry, graphs, limits, derivatives and trigonometric functions, the definite integral and its applications, transcendental functions, formal integration, polar coordinates, and vector algebra of three space.  Students must register and pass the AP/Calculus Exam to receive AP credit.  A graphing calculator is required for this course.
