Student Services
Carmen Arace Middle School offers a full range of support services for students in Grade 7 and Grade 8. These services include Guidance and Counseling, a School Psychologist, School Social Workers and five Special Education teachers.
Students with special needs are identified through a comprehensive Early Intervention Team process and the Planning and Placement Team [PPT] process. Students with other disabilities are identified through the Early Intervention Team process and the Section 504 Team process. Most student services are delivered in the regular classroom using an Inclusion Model.
